Booked this hotel on Priceline, they said it wld be $150. We aren’t from here and the Florida Vs Tennessee game is happening tonight so everything is $200-$600 a night. We had to come to see my mom at UF hospital. When we got here to check in we were informed they aren’t even on line yet, not taking reservations and we were the third person to come with a booking from Priceline, etc. They were great and accommodating even though they are renovated the place. They gave us a room to stay in that was done. The cost of the rooms are $85 not $150 and they ONLY take CASH at this time. The picture on Priceline and Bookng,com show exactly how the room looks now, down to the bedspread. The owners were great because we were without a room and didn’t know what to do. I always book through Priceline and never have had this issue.
This is on its way to becoming a 5* place as new owner is doing a whole new wonderful makeover here!!. everything is being replaced in the rooms .. everything is being freshly painted and upgraded!!Even the grounds are being tended to ! So excited to have an affordable motel in our area that's affordable as well!! Just booked my son and his fiance a room for the next two weeks... probably will be extending another week or so..we were only going to do one night when we first looked on line..when we arrived .we met the new owners and saw how great it was looking..on the spot changed our minds! New owners of this place are a very nice family and we're very accommodating to our needs.... Friendly.. family atmosphere....close to Waldo's huge flea market,places to eat & shop also close to Gainesville airport!
The motel is under new managment I had great stay the. Room was nice and cosie the new manager was great and friendly I'll definitely well come back!!
I've got to say I was actually surprised at how great my stay was. It was affordable, quite and very clean. The manager Donnie was amazing. He was very nice and attentive. Always making sure we had clean towels, sheets the basics. I also want to add since I read a previous review. I had NO bed bugs in either of the rooms I stayed in. Would definitely stay there again.
It was nothing Fancy but pretty private Cheap for anyone on a budger and very nice management I was visiting family who was there they had no complaints
This is by far the best place I have ever stayed at.I have been all over the world including vegas,Denver ,Dubai, China and Ukrain and this is the only place that I felt comfortable eating off the floor..The owners had such great southern hospitality, they even brought me black flag and showed me how to download Google translate courtesy of their free wifi..if I could give 10 stars I would..
I drive by this place almost every day but I have never stayed there.
